In the Isles of Scilly, we are working to gather information about different marine recreational activities that interact with the seagrass beds to identify where there may be risks.

We are currently focussing on raising awareness of the importance of seagrass habitats and where they can be found with local communities, visitors, and other stakeholders.

In 2024, Natural England will update the condition assessment of the seagrass in the Isles of Scilly, this information will inform future discussions with local stakeholders to influence management options.
